Kdegames Package: Arcade
In this section we present information about the
Arcade Games included in KDE. All games listed
here are part of the kdegames package and included in a standard
KDE distribution.
KAsteroids
|
KAsteroids is a fast arcade shooting game where the
player has to command a spaceship and survive the passage
of an asteroid field. This is done by shooting at
the asteroids which then split into smaller parts until
nothing is left.
The game has fast and smooth graphics and is easy to learn
and play.

KBounce
|
Your task in KBounce (Jezz Ball) is to catch
several moving balls in a rectangular game field by building walls.
The motivation consists of finding new and advanced strategies to
catch as many balls as possible.

|
KFouleggs
|
KFouleggs is a clone of the well-known (at least
in Japan) PuyoPuyo game. This is a modification of the well
known Tetris game principle.

KSirtet
|
KSirtet is a clone of the
well known Tetris game family.
The game allows multiplayer duels including
games against a computer player. Everybody
knowing Tetris should immediately
feel at home with this game.

KSmiletris is a clone of the Tetris family, but does
not quite follow the usual Tetris game rules.

KSnakerace
|
KSnake Race is a fast action game where you steer a snake
which has to eat food. While eating the snake grows. But
once a player collides with the other snake or the wall the
game is lost. This becomes of course more and more difficult
the longer the snakes grow.

KSpaceDuel
|
KSpaceduel is a space arcade game for two players. However, one player can be
controlled by the computer.
Each player controls a satellite that flies around the sun. While doing
so both players try not to collide with anything but shoot at the other
space ship.

KTron
|
Well known from the famous movie, Tron is a popular computer
game for two players. In a fast action sequence both players have
to move and avoid colliding with any walls, the opponent as well as the
own path. The player colliding first looses the game.
